Q: Why
should I have custom designed wedding invitations from B Graphix?
{back to top}
A: There are
thousands of places to buy existing wedding invitations
who will all say that they can provide the two of you with
a "custom" design and look. Most of them will only
have two or three type styles to choose from, limited color
options, and most importantly, only a few themes to choose
from. Just how custom is that when thousands of other couples
could order the exact same thing for themselves!
A few others say that they too will also provide you with
a customized wedding invitation, but WON'T let you see any
of their previous pieces of work without contacting them first!
If you are "shopping" around, why would you want
to give every other company all of your contact information
and wedding details if you may not be buying
from them? In addition, some of these sites also charge upto
$14.95 for their samples kit. From B Graphix,
if you would like to see first hand some samples, please simply
email me with your name and mailing address. I would be more
than happy to send you a sample kit FREE OF CHARGE!
I will create a truly custom design exclusive for your wedding.
No one else can order the same thing! You will have the luxury
of either a 1 year, 3 year, 5 year, or permanent exclusivity
to my designs.
Q: How much does
it cost?
{back to top}
A: I do not
charge an hourly rate for wedding invitations and therefore,
prices are dependent upon the needs of the project itself.
The cost of paper is the biggest factor in pricing. The second
quantity. The more stationery packages the two of you need,
the cheaper each package will cost. It all comes down to the
supply and demand theory. Prices can be as little as $5.00
per package to over $15.00 per package, all depending on the
needs of the couple.
There is no up-front charge or any hidden fees. The initial
consultation is FREE as long as you order
with B Graphix! All formal pricing quotes will be supplied
with the first round of samples and are guaranteed within
3%. Due to the fluxuation in the cost of materials, I can
only guarantee the pricing to within the 3%.
Q: How
long will it take to do the invitations?
{back to top}
A: General rule
of thumb is about 5-6 weeks. The first week for talking with
the couple to discuss colors, themes, styles and everything
else that pertains to your event. I will then work on a price
quote and send it to you. If everything looks good, then the
initial concept designs will begin.
The second week is for the couple to look over, proof, change
and or edit the designs and for me to make these changes.
In addition, the second week is when the couple to be finalizing
the wording and text of the invitation, RSVP, Ceremony
Programs, etc. and sending this information to
B Graphix. If the couple wishes, B Graphix can do
the writing for you and make changes along the way.
The third week is for the final approval process showing the
entire package complete.
Then it is production time. For most projects, I prefer to
have a good 2-3 weeks for production and assembly.
Q:
Can I get the addresses printed on
the envelopes?
{back to top}
A: YES! I will
even print the graphics from the wedding theme as well.
Q:
How do I give you the addresses for
the envelopes?
{back to top}
A: Simply use
Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word and type them out exactly
as you would like them to appear on the envelopes. Be sure
to include the following:
First and Last Name (Mr. Bob Smith and Family)
Address line 1 (2050 SW 19th Street)
Address line 2 (apartment #25)
City, State, ZIP
**Be sure to spell everything out - Streets, Cities, States
- (i.e Ave = Avenue, St = Street, IA = Iowa, NY = New York,
etc)**
and
email them to: weddings@bgraphixdesign.com
Q: Will the invitation
match everything else?
{back to top}
A: YES. The
invitation is the first thing that I will work on. Once we
have narrowed down the style of the invitation, I will begin
work on the other pieces of the wedding package, making sure
that everything goes together.
Q:
Do I have to use MapQuest or another
mapping source to get my directions?
{back to top}
A: NO, aboslutely
not. All I will need is the complete name and address for
the wedding location and the reception location. I will then
be able to create a custom map taylored specifically to your
package style and colors. You will be able to choose from
text only, visual (drawn out map) only, or both!
Q:
Do you accept rush orders?
{back to top}
A: Most definitely.
A minimal charge may apply for rush design, production or
delivery. Please contact me if this is desired.
Q:
What if I want to order additional
invitations at a later date (say, after the wedding)?
{back to top}
A: Not a problem.
All designs are kept on file and can be produced at any time.
Pricing will depend soley on the additional quantities ordered.
